About Carl Gersuny

At the age of ten, Carl Gersuny came to the United States with his family from Austria in 1938. He became a University of Rhode Island professor in the sociology department. He also published books and articles in the areas of industrial accidents, factory discipline, employment seniority, and union issues. He was honored with an award from the Rhode Island Labor History Society in 2000. He passed away in 2013.
