Historians Erik J. Chaput and Russell J. DeSimone, both frequent contributors to The Online Review of Rhode Island History (at smallstatebighistory.com), are the co-creators of the award-winning Dorr Rebellion Project website hosted by Providence College. Their edition of Thomas Wilson Dorr’s writings will be published next year by the Rhode Island Publications Society (foreword to the book penned by historian Sean Wilentz). Also, in 2025 a new update to the site will bring the story of Newport County in 1842 to light for students and teachers.
